Clifford Chitupa Mashiri
Clifford Chitupa Mashiri is a writer, researcher and teacher. From 1982 to 1986 he was a Zimbabwean diplomat in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He subsequently worked in the Ministry of Information for six years. After leaving the Zimbabwean government he ran a training services company until he emigrated to Britain in 2001, where he taught at GTCE College, in Lewisham. In 2005 he became a director of Lifelong Learning Associates.
His weekly comment on SW Radio Africa, Clifford’s Corner, has been highly praised for providing an insightful take on current affairs in Zimbabwe.
