About 200 police officers Friday blocked members of Women in Zimbabwe Arise from petitioning Bulawayo resident minister, Eunice Sandi Moyo.

Over 1,000 WOZA members marched through the streets to the Mhlahlandlela Government Complex, as part of the pressure group’s annual peaceful Valentine’s Day demos. A statement said WOZA is demanding free primary education for all vulnerable and under privileged children by the end of 2014.

SW Radio Africa heard that chanting WOZA members found the entrance to the government complex blocked by police details who were clad in full riot gear. WOZA spokesperson Magodonga Mahlangu said the police were all over the city center, where they watched vigilantly as members of the pressure group gathered and marched to Mhlahlandlela.

‘As early as 8am the police were all over the city center. They were in every street corner and we had to reduce our processions from 11 to only three,’ said Mahlangu.

She said WOZA members were forced to disperse after forty five minutes. She said although the police did not assault or arrest any of their members, they violated their right to petition Moyo.

This development comes after police in Harare assaulted WOZA members as they left Parliament after submitting a petition Thursday. The police accused the marchers of demonstrating without permission.

WOZA is demanding full implementation of the new constitution by year end, and in a statement said: ‘We were expecting that by now the new constitution would already be activated and fully implemented and new laws would be helping us to enjoy the fruits. This constitution is our nation’s harvest. Why can’t Parliament and The Senate activate it so we can enjoy it together?’

Sadly for Zimbabweans all totally predictably.

How can a Military dictatorship of billionaire state looters responsible for bankrupting the country and creating the highest unemployment in the world at 95%, be trusted to uphold the human rights of their citizens, when all they have done for 34 years is destroy jobs and the economy, rob the country blind, and reduce most it citizens to living in squalor and abject poverty!

Answers on a postcard to the International Criminal Court !

Zimbabwe has laws that have to be observed by all its nationals including you if you happen to visit this country. Demonstrations of any kind have to be sanctioned by the police for obvious reasons. This is the law of the country that has to be observed. There is, therefore, no need to talk about the International Criminal Court (ICC) on a simple matter as this one, you fcking idiot.
You clearly demonstrates your ignorance of the role of the ICC. You should ask those who read international law and they will tell you its proper role. In any case, how can a foolish hedge fund manager know its role when he spends his time writing this crap whole other hedge fund managers are skimming money from us, the taxpayers of this country, who are being used as cash cows in bailing out failed businesses of the United Kingdom.

Mugabe’s Zimbabwe – the one party military dictatorship, dressed up as a democracy – the only country in the world where more than 99% of the wealth is held by less than 1% of the people – and guess what, most of that wealth has not been earned but stolen from the Zimbabwean people by the Zanu state looters – they even stole the aid funds provided by hardworking taxpayers of foreign countries, donated to help the health and education of the children contemptuously forgotten by the Zanu criminals in their rush to buy private jets, mansions and fleets of executive cars.

Dishonest and underhand cheats like the hated and despised Mugabe and his criminal party have an appalling track record of election fraud – making it impossible for the Zimbabwean people to ever trust them with organising transparent, free and fair elections – they will always have something to hide, because Zimbabweans know the only way Mugabe and his party could ever win an election is by voter role manipulation on an industrial scale.

If you value your health, wealth and liberty, never, ever trust them or their private army and police forces – laughably called the Zimbabwean National Army and Zimbabwean Republic Police !

When a murderous military dictatorship has to resort to seizing radios in the middle of the night from dirt poor villagers sick and tired of state propaganda, you know their days are numbered and liberation from 34 years of appalling black tyranny and repression is not far away !

Mugabe and his criminals has always seen the Zimbabwean people as sheep for the fleecing – industrial scale vote rigging by expensive Israeli experts shamelessly paid for out of Zimbabwean taxpayers funds, has simply brought an extra sophistication to the shearing process!

Like the Eastern European dictatorships, Saddam and Gaddafi, it is only a matter of time before these repulsive Zanu PF despots are kicked firmly into the dustbin of history, where they belong!

Of course, who can be surprised by the cheap talk of this idiot working for this pirate radio station?

We will never give any foreigner a chance to terrorize us again. That you conquered Zimbabwe and brought untold suffering to our ancestors and their off-springs can never be repeated in this 21st century, my boy. It was then and it is now, my ill informed and educated boy. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

The midnight hour is fast approaching both for Zimbabwe and South Africa, and when it does, nothing, just nothing will save those who have stood against change and sanity in that once wonderful country, even the police will wish that some of the women and the petition had got through………..do the police and army truly believe that when the hour arrives their Masters will think of them?????? I doubt it very much.
