It’s a pity that MDC formations will always be outwitted by ZANU PF. They failed to stop the re appointment of the service chiefs and now think can use the constitution to block Mugabe as a candidate. I can foresee Zanu pf strategists coming out and saying the terms of office for the president doe not take into account the time the new constitution was not in effect.They will start to count Mugabe’s term of office from the time when the new constitution will be adopted. This effectively mean, if mugabe ‘wins’ ,thats another ten year period in office. That alone means Mugabe has successfully declared himself the life President of the Republic of Zimbabwe under the ‘watchful eyes’ of the politicians whom we trust to dislodge him from power. What a shame???. Only a people driven revolution will take power from self serving Zanu PF politicians to its citizens.
