The Zimbabwe Action Support Group is positive the charred remains of two men recovered at Thembisa outside Johannesburg two weeks ago are those of their missing members Musa Mhlanga and Liberty Ncube. The two were abducted from their apartment in Johannesburg early last month and it was the last time they were seen alive. However, police in South Africa still need to carry out a DNA test in order to come out with positive identification. Relatives of the two are reported to have made contact with the MDC in Bulawayo to ask for help in making the trip down south. Leader of the ZASG, Remember Moyo said despite the lack of DNA evidence, he was 100 percent certain that the bodies recovered belong to Mhlanga and Ncube.

'The mystery surrounding the death and recovery of the bodies is like a best selling crime thriller. A week after we demanded to know the whereabouts of the two from the MDC leadership here in South Africa, we got a very intriguing anonymous phone call,' said Moyo. The anonymous caller gave Moyo the exact details of where the bodies were disposed of. Armed with this information he contacted the police who eventually retrieved the charred remains. Moyo was invited by the police to try and identify the bodies. He was not able to help because the bodies were so badly charred.
