SWRA launches end of year awards

For the first time ever our listeners will be able to vote for various categories in our inaugural SWRA end of year awards. The award winners will be announced during a special programme on Tuesday the 27th of December 2005.

Biggest losers of the year

• Most unwarranted waste of money
• Zimbabwean of the year
• ‘Martin Luther King’ award for bravery
• ‘Talk is cheap’ award for international organisations
• ‘Talk is cheap’ award for local Zimbabwean organisations
• ‘General Pinochet’ award for Human rights violator of the year
• ‘Dining with the devil’ award for private companies
• ‘Chinotimba’ award for naivety
• ‘Jonathan Moyo’ award for political summersaults
  
  

Listeners are free to suggest their own categories and to nominate individuals into those categories.
