Zimbabwe soccer fans are calling upon the Zimbabwe Football Association officials to show coach Charles Mhlauri the exit door the moment the Warriors land at the Harare International airport.

Most fans blame the Warriors’ technical department for the team’s dismal perfomances so far. The Warriors have lost their first two group matches to Senegal and Nigeria to an identical two-nil scoreline and most fans don’t fancy the national team to beat Ghana in the last group D match.

George Nyathi, our correspondent, told us fans had high expectations for the Warriors to do well in Egypt but that belief and trust in the team’s players and coaching department has evaporated because of the two defeats.

Most fans, according to Nyathi, have pointed out the coaching department’s lack of tactical approach to the finals as evidenced by the team’s failure to score a single goal in over 180 minutes of football.

‘The fans are saying to Zifa if Mhauri doesn’t resign whilst in Egypt, they should show him the exit door the moment he lands at the airport,’ said Nyathi.
