Pensioners do not have to pay licence fees

Government recently hugely increased the rates for television and radio licenses. We would like to remind you that if you are a pensioner you do not have to pay licence fees.
In 2003 an act was past saying that people 65 years of age and over do not need to pay.
If you object or cannot pay the new rates of $150,000 for a TV licence and $210,000 for a car radio licence, please send an SMS message to Mr Luwizhi in the Harare Licence Department.
His mobile number is 011873254.
Quote the number of the act that says people 65 and over do not have to pay - Act 244 of 2003.
Please take part in this campaign. We all need to do something now - if we don't it means we are just accepting.
