DIASPORA VOTE 2008
Symbolic Mock Elections
Disenfranchised Zimbabweans in the Diaspora are hereby urged to cast their symbolic votes as a sign of protest for being excluded from the 2008 elections.
1) Cast your vote at the following polling stations:

2) Postal Voting
Send your ballot paper to the Embassy of Zimbabwe in your country of residence, by email from an internet village, fax from a business center or post.
In denying us our right to vote the government issued the following
statement: “Most of the countries in which Zimbabweans were living have adopted measures and sanctions that prohibited government officials from entering such countries. This would create an uneven political playing field where the ruling party would not have access to would-be voters while the opposition would have easy access.”
The above government statement is a stunt designed to merely deprive us of our right to vote. Travel restrictions only target certain government officials who are not permitted to travel to the EU, USA, Australia, and New Zealand. If teachers can conduct the elections in Zimbabwe, then the same teachers should supervise the Diaspora vote.
