Drastic Fuel price increase
The state newspaper The Herald announced that the price of fuel has been increased by about 300 percent with effect from Tuesday night. A litre of petrol now costs Z$10 000, up from Z$3 600 while a litre of diesel now costs Z$9 600, up from Z$3 800. Paraffin is now Z$6 500 and Jet A1 fuel now costs Z$9 500 per litre.
