Petros says if the MDC leadership imposes candidates and refuses to hold primary elections in constituencies where there are sitting MDC parliamentarians, this will negate the founding ideals and principles of the party and make it the same as ZANU PF, which thrives on violence, corruption and dictatorship; Sibanda says ZPF is busy preparing for their December congress and is expected to spend millions of US dollars hosting it, while millions of people are suffering with no food and clean water. The big question is, why have a congress when Mugabe is already endorsed as their presidential candidate?
