Tembo says ZANU PF supporters & war vets are arrogantly going around intimidating & threatening MDC supporters in Mudzi, telling them they will spill more blood in the coming elections. They move around holding pictures of MDC people they killed in 2008 to remind everyone what they’re capable of; while Kudakwashe says 2012 was a bad year and 2013 will be worse, as far as politics & the economy go. Violence and intimidation will increase and there won’t be any change with ZPF ruthlessly clinging on to power, using all means at their disposal.

Alex Bell is joined by SW Radio Africa’s correspondent Lionel Saungweme, who warns that there is growing fear about elections because of the confusion surrounding the political situation.
Our correspondents in Harare and Bulawayo, Simon Muchemwa and Lionel Saungweme, say there is no movement on the ground to suggest Zimbabwe will be heading for an election within the next six month, adding that preparations for the poll might be further behind than anticipated.
