Alex Bell looks at concerns raised by Zimbabweans in the UK about the treatment of deportees by the UK Border Agency. Activist Ephraim Tapa explains how deportees have recently told him that they were threatened with sedation to prevent them “kicking up a fuss during deportation.” Sarah Harland from the Zimbabwe Association says there is a lot of fear among asylum seekers, particularly as there has been a notable increase in the number of detentions recently.
