Zimbabwe Electoral Commission chairman, Justice Simpson Mtambanengwe, has failed to attend two crucial meetings convened by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, amid reports he’s considering stepping down because of the alleged resistance he’s facing in trying to change the ZEC secretariat, the is closely aligned to ZANU PF. But the main problem seems to be that he is not even in the country, being based in Namibia.
